Tea cups and saucers, mugs, oversized cups and saucers, small espresso cups, latte or cappuccino cups, filled to the brim with goodies such as wrapped chocolates, candy, bon-bons, mini cookies, sugar cubes, or perhaps with English Breakfast, Earl Grey, herb or fruit flavored tea sachets or bags - are useful bridal shower favors that your guests are sure to love.
Once filled with your chosen treats, bought, or homemade gift tags - cut from cardstock maybe into a tea themed shape such as a teapot, and hole punched - could then be attached with ribbon or twine to the cup or mug handles; or taped inside the cups/mugs and the tags arranged to hang over the rims. Alternatively filled mugs, or cups with their saucers, could be wrapped in cellophane, tied closed with ribbons or raffia then favor tags attached.
And don't forget that because there's such an array of pastel and paintbox colored ribbons available as well as many different shapes, sizes and colors of cups and saucers and mugs - often with cutesy inscriptions - it's easy to tie tea favors to the colors of a wedding or to a bridal shower theme.
Remember too that there are some very sweet personalized tea bag favors, decorated sugar cubes, themed infusers, tea strainers and favor spoons available as these also make nice party favors.
Tea favors are of course a great idea for any bridal shower party, but are especially nice for a party with an afternoon tea, garden tea party or Mad Hatters tea party theme.
